We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Wordpress Developer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Build and test responsive, highly-customized open-source CMS-managed websites (primarily WordPress).
  • Implement and/or extend plugins, modules, libraries, and APIs to customize display and functionality.
  • Test websites for cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
  • Launch websites including DNS updating, site migrations, etc
  • Learn new CMS, application, and eCommerce platforms as needed
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Break projects into simpler granular tasks, estimate the effort required and identify dependencies.

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc degree holder
  • Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer
  • Extensive knowledge of HTML/CSS, accessibility guidelines, and SEO practices.
  • Familiarity with CSS-preprocessors (SASS, LESS).
  • Ability to implement/extend PHP and JavaScript (vanilla, jQuery).
  • A strong portfolio demonstrative of working knowledge of web design and UI best practices.
  • Excellent understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills with an ability to perform well in a dynamic environment.
