Job Title: Strategic Communications Officer (Social Media / Data Visualization)

Location: Abuja

Job Description

  • The ideal candidate must be interested in data visualization, information curation and display in the virtual space.
  • S/he will also create and manage content (images, video and written) for the organization's website; organize social media events; support online advocacy; develop and expand community and outreach efforts
  • Work with the media and design a project media strategy; monitor online traffic to the organization's website
  • Monitor trends in Social Media conversations and trends; analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, New Media or Information Management
  • Tech savvy and must have experience using all social media platforms
  • Good command of the English language
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to draft, edit and simplify complex material rapidly and accurately.
