Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Anesthetist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering anesthesia and providing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- They should possess exceptional clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
Key Result Areas (KRA)
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures and post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
The Person
- Minimum academic qualification of a Nurse Anaesthetist
- 2-3 years and above relevant work experience in the health sector.
- Possession of BLS and ACLS training certificate is an added advantage
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and must be licensed to practice as Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse Anaesthetist
- Possess high degree of accuracy and attention to details.
- Knowledge of Infection control practices.
- Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
