Job Title: Finance Intern

Location: Lagos

Description

• We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Finance Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in financial analysis by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial data.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by collecting relevant information and preparing financial models.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for management.
• Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to support strategic decision-making.
• Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the finance department.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for financial transactions and activities.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in the field of finance.
• Prior internship or work experience in finance or related fields is an added advantage.
