Horizontal Tempering Glass is a glass processing factory operating in Lebanon while also covering the MENA region and several West African countries. Founded in 1997 the company has evolved from a small scale glass tempering plant to one of the leading manufacturers of architectural glazing. Investments on our pre-processing machines, tempering furnace, PVB lamination line and double glazing machine helped obtain the necessary certifications ensuring that the quality requirements of our high end residential & commercial projects are always met.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Proficiently utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Nigerian tax laws, ensuring compliance and optimizing tax strategies.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Reconciliations with Customers& suppliers.
  • Follow up on Customers payments to be settled an inform the management on daily basis throughout the “Daily follow up on customers payment”
  • Issuing needed credit notes and sales return

Financial Data Entry:

  • Record financial transactions in accounting software.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and process invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in monitoring and categorizing company expenses.
  • Maintain expense records and receipts.
  • Support the preparation of basic financial reports and statements.
  • Generate routine financial reports as requested to CEO & GM
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
  • Ensure documents are stored securely and can be easily retrieved.
  • Coordinating with financial controller in Beirut branch for all activities
  • Coordinating with operations, GM & CEO

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance.
  • ICAN certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 4years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Expertise in QuickBooks and proficiency in MS Excel.
  • In-depth understanding of Nigerian tax laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
