We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Embedded Systems Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment type: Full time

Key Responsibilities

  • Test and validate the communication between IoT systems, batteries, and our Energy Management System.
  • Develop and maintain embedded systems for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with back-end and front end engineers to ensure seamless integration of embedded systems.
  • Soldering and other hands-on tasks.
  • Program and test embedded systems, with a specific focus on the Battery Management System (BMS) and BTMS .
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to embedded systems and IoT communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Embedded Systems Engineer.
  • Previous experience in Solar IoT systems is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in the development of very smart embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with lithium-ion battery technologies and Battery Thermal Management Systems (BTMS).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Highest form of professionalism.

Required Skills:

  • Embedded systems programming expertise.
  • IoT systems testing and validation.
  • Familiarity with Solar IoT systems.
  • Experience in Battery Management System (BMS) programming and testing.
  • Proficiency in 3D design tools like SolidWorks and Autodesk Fusion 360 (a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with electrical and power systems.
