We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Mason - General
Location: Yenagoa, Bayelsa
Employment Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Perform skilled masonry work, including the construction, alteration, and repair of structures such as walls, floors, partitions, and other building components.
- Lay bricks, blocks, or stones according to blueprints, drawings, or specifications, ensuring proper alignment, level, and plumb.
- Mix and apply mortar or other bonding agents to join materials and construct or repair masonry structures.
- Cut or trim bricks, blocks, or stones using hand or power tools to fit around windows, doors, or other openings.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards to ensure the integrity and stability of masonry work.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in masonry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, or specifications.
- Strong physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices.
