Job Title: Cyber-Security Instructor

Position Overview

• We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cybersecurity Instructor to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
• You will have the opportunity to inspire and guide a diverse range of learners, from working professionals to recent graduates, as they embark on their journey towards fulfilling careers in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Development:

• Develop comprehensive training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and assessments, covering a wide range of cybersecurity topics.
• Ensure the integration of practical, industry-based content into the curriculum.

Instruction and Training:

• Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment by leveraging your industry experience.
• Communicate complex subject matter clearly and effectively to cater to diverse learners.
• Provide timely grading and feedback on student assignments.

Skill Development:

• Conduct personalized or group coaching sessions to enhance students' practical skills in areas such as ethical hacking, penetration testing, incident response, and network security.
• Guide students in the effective utilization of cybersecurity tools and technologies.

Assessment and Feedback:

• Assess student progress through various methods, including assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams.
• Offer constructive feedback to help students identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Mentorship:

• Mentor students pursuing careers in cybersecurity, assisting them in setting goals and navigating their professional paths.
• Share industry insights, job opportunities, and the importance of relevant certifications.
• Provide post-training internship support and ongoing mentorship.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary Degree / Certifications in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Positive attitude and self-starter mentality.
• Relevant industry certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing or teaching cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in cybersecurity practices, tools, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated patience and empathy.
