Job Title: Data Analytics Instructor

Location: Lagos

Position Overview

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Analytics Instructor to join our team.
• As a Data Analytics Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data analytics education.
• You will have the opportunity to inspire and guide a diverse range of learners as they embark on their journey towards becoming proficient data analysts.

Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Development:

• Develop comprehensive training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and assessments, covering a wide range of data analytics topics.
• Incorporate practical, industry-based content into the curriculum to ensure relevance and applicability.

Instruction and Training:

• Create an engaging and supportive learning environment, drawing on your industry experience.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to cater to diverse learners.
• Provide timely grading and feedback on student assignments.

Skill Development:

• Conduct personalized or group coaching sessions to enhance students' practical skills in data analysis, data visualization, statistical techniques, and data mining.
• Guide students in the effective utilization of data analytics tools and technologies.

Assessment and Feedback:

• Evaluate student progress through various methods, including assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams.
• Offer constructive feedback to help students identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Mentorship:

• Mentor students pursuing careers in data analytics, assisting them in setting goals and navigating their professional paths.
• Share industry insights, job opportunities, and the importance of relevant certifications.
• Provide post-training internship support and ongoing mentorship.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary Degree / Certifications in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Positive attitude and self-starter mentality.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and technologies such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, etc.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics or related field.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in data analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated patience and empathy.
