We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Payroll and Benefits Manager

Location: Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including payroll preparation, processing, distribution and reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data, including employee hours, salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Process payroll taxes, deductions, and withholdings accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries, providing timely and accurate information and support.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, such as insurance providers and retirement plan administrators, to manage benefits plans effectively.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws, regulations, and industry best practices, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll and benefits reports to internal stakeholders, management, and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll and benefits processes with overall HR and financial systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field;
  • Professional membership of CIPM, CIPD or SHRM compulsory in addition to appropriate certification as a compensation and benefits professional.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in payroll administration and benefits management.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing procedures, tax regulations, and benefit programs.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems, with experience using SAP, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve payroll and benefits- related issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Salary
N470,000 - N630,000 / month.
