We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Officer / Marketer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The role requires a basic understanding of the financial sector with an emphasis on services/offerings in the retail and commercial space and cross-selling.

Responsibilities

  • Design, create, and implement sales and marketing strategies
  • Develop marketing strategies to grow customer base and increase revenue
  • Establish and maintain good customer relationships
  • Meet revenue targets Conduct detailed market research to identify selling opportunities and understand customer needs.
  • Proactively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media engagement.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients to listen to their requirements, wishes, and concerns.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations on our products and services tailored to meet client needs.
  • Regularly create reviews and reports with sales and financial data to inform strategy adjustments.
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales demonstrations, maintaining readiness for potential sales opportunities.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions or conferences, participating actively to promote our offerings.
  • Skillfully negotiate and close deals, efficiently handling any complaints or objections to secure business.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve superior results through a unified approach.
  • Gather and share customer feedback with internal teams to drive continuous improvement in our offerings.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2-3 proven years of experience as a Sales Executive or in a relevant sales role.
  • Proficiency in English and excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • A thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
  • Fast learner with a strong passion for sales.
  • Self-motivated individual with a results-driven approach.
  • Strong aptitude in delivering attractive and persuasive presentations.
  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
