Job Title: Office Assistant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support in their office environment.
  • The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to ensure smooth daily operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the office.

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with HR and Admin Managers to ensure optimal work operations
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks such as ensuring the office premises are organized, swept, tidy, and presentable.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock and ordering items as needed.
  • Assist in organizing and archiving office documents and records.
  • Support other team members with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures
  • Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
  • Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
  • Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
  • Post contents regularly on Social Media handles and other posting channels

Requirements and Skills

  • OND / NCE / Diploma Only. No B.Sc
  • Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, virtual assistant or in another relevant administrative role
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Fair understanding of office management procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proximity to location is an added advantage.
