University of Mkar is a Private University which was licensed in June 2005 by the Federal Government of Nigeria

Requirements
- Applicant should possess a minimum of twelve years cognate library experience at the University level plus Ph.D in Library and information science.
- In addition, applicants should have a good record of publications in reputable journals; must be Computer literate and have a good understanding of information and Communication Technology as applicable to library services.
Salary and Other Conditions of Service
Salary and conditions of service are very attractive and comparable to what is obtainable generally in the Nigerian University System.
