Job Description
- We are seeking a qualified Pile Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design and implementation of deep foundation systems for various construction projects.
- In this role, you will leverage your geotechnical expertise to design safe and efficient pile foundations, ensuring the stability of structures for years to come.
Responsibilities
- Should be able to monitor the execution of the Bored piles, CFA Piles and should have a good knowledge of bentonite slurry.
- Inspect the installation of piles, conduct Pile load tests and PIT tests.
- Prepare the daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Analyze soil and site investigation data to determine the most appropriate type of pile foundation for a project
- Design and specify pile foundations based on geotechnical data and structural load requirements
- Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and specifications for pile construction
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure clear communication and project alignment
- Conduct site inspections to monitor pile installation progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety protocols
- Analyze and address any technical challenges that arise during pile installation
- Prepare and maintain technical reports and documentation
- Stay up-to-date on the latest piling techniques, industry standards, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
- 5 to 10 years experience
- Proven experience with geotechnical software programs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics and foundation engineering principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
- Commitment to health and safety practices.
