Job Description
- Experience in diesel electrical system
- Electrical and electronic incharge of vessel
- Saturday routines / safety routines/alarm testing.
- Record keeping of all safety alarms and trips carried out
- Maintaining inventory of electrical stores
- Raising indents for electrical stores requirement
- Incharge of bridge navigational electrical equipments
- Incharge of laundry and galley electrical equipments
- Incharge of fire detection system
- Incharge of electrical equipments in cabins
- Preparing vessel for surveys and audits
- Assist chief engineer or 2nd engineer whenever requiredexperience in diesel electrical system
