Job Title: Financial Executive

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Manage cash flow, credit, and investment activities to optimize financial performance.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to facilitate audits and financial reviews.
• Provide financial guidance and support to other departments within the organization.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is usually required. Many financial executives also hold advanced degrees such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA), especially for higher-level positions.
• Experience: Relevant work experience in finance or accounting is essential, often ranging from several years to a decade or more, depending on the specific role. Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting is highly valued.
• Skills: Financial executives need strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and make strategic decisions. They should also possess excellent communication skills to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders and collaborate with other departments. Leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are also crucial.
• Professional certifications: Many financial executives hold professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA). These certifications demonstrate expertise in specific areas of finance and can enhance credibility and career prospects.
• Knowledge of financial regulations: A thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements is essential for financial executives to ensure that their organization operates within legal and regulatory frameworks.

Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 monthly.
