Job Title: Credit Officer
Location: Lagos

Job Description
- Review loan requests and assess clients’ financial status
- Evaluate creditworthiness and risks
- Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation
- Analyse risks and approve or reject loan requests
- Calculate financial ratios (e.g. credit scores and interest rates)
- Set up payment plans and maintain updated records of loan applications
- Follow up with clients about loan renewals and monitor the progress of existing loans
- Keep daily records (Daily Collection Sheet, Ledger etc)
- Recover default if any from the customer
- Prepare timely report
- Any other function as assigned by the Managing Director.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in Banking and Finance, Business Admin, Accounting or any numerate disciplines and the Social Sciences.
- At least 2 years work experience.
- Integrity and diligence
- Product knowledge
- Excellent Communication skills, customer service and relationship management
- Target-driven and a team-player
- Computer literacy.
