Job Title: Distributor Sales

Job Purpose

  • The Distributor Sales Rep will be responsible for sourcing, onboarding and managing wholesalers on our platform to expand our distribution network.
  • Your primary focus will be on driving sales growth through effective distributor and wholesaler management, negotiation, and relationship building.
  • You will work closely with the sales team to develop strategies for wholesaler acquisition and revenue generation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive acquisition and retention of wholesalers while ensuring selling (bulk buy) and sellout to expand our distribution network.
  • Provide support and assistance to distributors to ensure sales targets are met
  • Identify and develop strategies for wholesaler acquisition.
  • Monitor distributor and wholesaler activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Drive sales growth through effective management of distributor and wholesaler channels.
  • Manage the distributors in the marketplace, assisting with shop setup, ensuring demand fulfilment to the wholesalers and adherence to the SLA timeline.
  • Ensure distributors are fulfilling demand from the wholesalers with net 0 logistics margin
  • Lead pricing negotiation with suppliers to ensure wholesalers access best prices and manage contracts to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct cost analysis on sourcing and distribution processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships between different suppliers and the business.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, distributor and wholesaler activity, and market insights.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in distributor and wholesaler management.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Vendor management skills and knowledge
  • Street smart with a drive for sales.
