Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Networking/Cybersecurity Intern to join our team for the duration of your NYSC service.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for networking and cybersecurity, eager to learn and contribute to our team's projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the configuration and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Support the monitoring of network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Assist in the implementation of cybersecurity measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and security audits.
• Help maintain documentation related to network configurations, security policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with the IT team on various networking and cybersecurity projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in networking and cybersecurity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
