Job Summary:
As a Business Development Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and developing strategic partnerships. Your primary objective will be to contribute to the company's revenue growth and market expansion by implementing effective business development strategies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate revenue and increase market share.
  2. Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive analysis.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  4. Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  5. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and client satisfaction.
  7. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify potential business risks and opportunities.
  8. Participate in networking events, conferences, and industry meetings to expand professional networks and promote the company's brand.
  9. Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales performance, and market conditions to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  2. Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the telecommunications industry.
  3. Strong understanding of the telecommunications market, industry trends, and customer needs.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
  5. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful business development strategies.
  6. Exceptional presentation and proposal writing skills.
  7. Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  10. Knowledge of local market dynamics and regulatory environment in Abuja is preferred.

Experience

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 4 - 5 years relevant work experience.

Salary Range

150,000 - 250,000 Net | Monthly
