Job Title: Managing Director

Location: Osogbo, Osun

Job Description

  • The Managing Director of the school is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the institution's operations, including academic, administrative, financial, and strategic planning.
  • They provide leadership to ensure the school achieves its mission and objectives while maintaining high standards of education and student welfare.
  • The Managing Director reports to the school board and works collaboratively with faculty, staff, parents, and other stakeholders to promote a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the school's mission and vision.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to faculty and staff to maintain high academic standards.
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and professional development of faculty and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with educational regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents, students, alumni, and the wider community.
  • Evaluate and improve school programs and policies to enhance student learning and success.
  • Represent the school at meetings, events, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with the board of directors to set policies and strategic priorities.
  • Handle any issues or crises that may arise within the school community.

Requirements
Education:

Experience:

  • 5+ years relevant work experience.
  • Significant experience in educational leadership, preferably in a managerial or administrative role within a school or educational institution.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, budget management, and personnel supervision.
  • Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, parents, and community members.

  • The salary for a Managing Director in a school varies depending on factors such as location, school size, and experience. Generally, it ranges from #80,000 to #150,000 monthly, with potential for bonuses or additional benefits.
