Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Location: Sango-Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure to resolve and rectify problems correctly prior to breakdowns occurrence.
- Inspect periodically electrical equipment to assure it is operating correctly.
- Ensures work facility fulfills all required safety and environmental needs.
- Involve in audits of supply inventories along with bench stock to assure usage is constant with programmed work activities.
- Design and implement all electrical systems for new installations and maintain all motor control centers to ensure that they are up to code in all areas.
- Plan all lighting changes and follow through to completion and ensure that all external electrical lighting and outlets are operational.
- Maintain equipment documents for every single piece of equipment and reviewed every modification.
- Install new equipment and modify existing equipment - pumps, electrical/electronic panels, and devices
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance for every equipments inrespective facility.
- Conduct and support equipment changeovers and start-ups. Conduct in-depth electrical maintenance and instrumentation for troubleshooting, preventative, and repair maintenance duties for plant utility, process, and packaging equipment.
- Ensure installation of wiring of power supply and conduct newly installed equipment and machines.
Requirements
- A minimum of OND / OTC (Ordinary Technical Certificate) in Electrical / Electronic Installation, Electrical Engineering and relevant Certifications are an added advantage.
- 4-6 years of cognate experience in a similar role
- Electrical / Electronics panel wiring, repair, and maintenance
- General maintenance knowledge in MEP - mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
- Troubleshooting, Diagnosis & problem-solving
- Maintenance records and reporting
- Organization, planning, and time management.
