Job Title: Business Development Executive

Job Description

  • As a Business Development Executive at our client, you'll be pivotal in accelerating the company's growth and success.
  • Your role involves spearheading new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and shaping their overall business strategy.

Principal Duties / Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Monitor industry developments and technological advancements to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Plan and execute impactful marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Proactively identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and online research.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, leveraging your network and industry knowledge.
  • Engage with corporate clients, SMEs, and public sector entities to drive new business growth.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, serving as their trusted advisor.
  • Deeply understand client needs and pain points to tailor solutions that address their specific challenges.
  • Explore opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients.

Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:

  • Develop compelling sales presentations and collateral to effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our technology solutions.
  • Coordinate initial presentations with prospects to provide insights into product functionality and features.

Proposal Development and Negotiation:

  • Collaborate closely with technical and product teams to craft customized proposals aligned with client requirements.
  • Lead negotiations on terms, pricing, and contracts to secure deals and meet revenue targets.
  • Ensure seamless integration of contract requirements with business operations to deliver on commitments.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

  • Foster strong collaboration with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Act as a conduit for feedback from the market, providing insights to internal teams for product enhancement and improvement.
  • Coordinate efforts across departments to streamline processes and optimize efficiency.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance metrics and contribute to accurate sales forecasting.
  • Monitor and track progress towards sales targets, adjusting strategies as needed to drive results.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development and sales within the technology industry, with a focus on digital transformation tools and ERP solutions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technology products and services, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a knack for building rapport and trust with clients.
