Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities and ensure our company receives enquiries (RFQs) from clients and customers.
• Track new business development, utilizing market knowledge and market intelligence tools to identify projects which are aligned to the company’s growth strategy.
• Remain current on sales performances and provide periodic sales reports detailing activity and efforts, as well as win/loss analysis.
• Contact leads to set up Meetings by using market research to prospect for leads.
• Support Tender Department in Tender related matters.
• Participate in meetings to report business prospect and status updates to management .
• Establish strong customer relationship by providing accurate and timely information to customers regarding inquiries such as products, pricing, quotes and issues/concerns.
• ·Conduct market competitive analysis to develop roadmap and sales strategy to secure new business.
• Support in writing new business proposals and preparing presentation slides.
• Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients.
• Schedule regular meetings, discussions, teleconferences and visit client offices to strengthen the relationships
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of competitor activity, products and services.
• Address client concerns, request promptly and professionally.
• Understand client needs and customize existing business programs to meet their needs.
• Develop new strategy to improve client’s satisfaction – managing client feedback systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about Joeny;s products and services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of B.Sc in Engineering or related field
• Professional Certification as added advantage
• 5 years’ experience working as a Business Development Officer and (Experience in Oil & Gas industry is added advantage).

• Presentation skill
• Reporting – ability to write logical, comprehensive, concise reports and correspondence
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.

Remuneration
N250,000 - N400,000 monthly.
