Job Summary
- The Facility Manager is to oversee all building-related activities that belong to the Organization, maintaining the building in all their facets.
- Will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensuring that facilities are safe and well-functioning as well as creating business for the organization by winning other facilities to be managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating business for the organization by prospecting and winning other facility management.
- Ensure that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly.
- Maintaining budgets and ensuring profitability of all ventures.
- Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work and assist with checking installation and servicing building equipment.
- Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals.
- Maintain stock levels and parts within budget.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and assist with energy management
- Oversee security of buildings and grounds.
- Maintain ongoing communication with contractors, clients, and the team.
- Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders.
- Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed.
- Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
- Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health, and security standards.
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
- B.Sc Degree in Facilities Management or related course.
- At least 7 years of working experience as a Facility Manager
- Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical/critical thinking
