Job Title: Hydraulic Fitter
Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Description
- Good knowledge about diagnosing and repairing any issues related to hydraulic systems.
- Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting components such as pumps, motors, valves, and hydraulic cylinders.
- Responsible to do activities/ progress as per maintenance criteria/parameters, instruction, and training experience in line with PM, and PI, on daily basis.
- Ensure timely execution of job with quality and identify the abnormality of equipment at the time.
- Responsible for day-by-day shift Logbook maintenance, Keeping records of detailed work during the shift.
- Reduce downtime of all equipment to increase equipment availability for better productivity.
- Responsible for Checking oil and pressure to maintain hydraulic power pack to avoid furnace failures.
- Usage of Optimum Spares & Controlling Inventory
- Follow the safety rules and regulations for Zero accidents.
- Carry out any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
- To maintain proper housekeeping and keep dust free all the machinery and equipment.
- Manpower planning and engagement of shift manpower.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Eng in relevant fields
- Minimum of 8 -10 years. Work experience experience in a Steel Melting Shop and Rolling mill.
- Experience in SMS /CCM and Rolling mill hydraulic equipment.
