Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Computer Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience teaching in a British school setting and be familiar with preparing students for IGCSE and WAEC exams. Proficiency in teaching binary numbers, denary coding, and coding fundamentals is essential.
• Additionally, candidates should have a proven track record of developing and implementing engaging curriculum and writing programs for various applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in computer science according to curriculum standards.
• Prepare students for IGCSE and WAEC exams in computer science.
• Teach binary numbers, denary coding, and coding fundamentals effectively.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and dynamic learning environment.
• Stay updated on developments in computer science education and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into teaching practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3-5 years of teaching experience in a British school setting.
• Experience preparing students for IGCSE and WAEC exams.
• Strong knowledge of binary numbers, denary coding, and coding fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
