Job Summary

• The Crane, Forklift, and HSE Instructor is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to individuals and organizations on the safe and efficient operation of cranes, forklifts, and promoting best practices in health, safety, and environmental protocols within the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training courses and modules on the operation of cranes and forklifts, including theoretical and practical components.
• Design instructional materials, presentations, and training aids to facilitate learning and understanding of crane and forklift operations.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions to demonstrate proper equipment operation techniques, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Assess trainees' knowledge and skills through written exams, practical assessments, and performance evaluations.
• Provide constructive feedback and coaching to trainees to enhance their proficiency and safety awareness.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to crane and forklift operations and HSE protocols.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to customize training programs based on specific organizational needs and requirements.

Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or Education
• Certification as a crane and forklift operator trainer
• Extensive experience in operating and instructing others on the safe operation of cranes and forklifts in various industrial settings.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and practices, with experience in developing and implementing safety programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively deliver training to diverse audiences and engage participants.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple training sessions and priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in using training software, multimedia tools, and learning management systems to deliver engaging and interactive training materials.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities.
