Job Title: Volunteer Grant Manager

Description 

  • Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children? Are you organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent research and writing skills? If so, then Elite Star Foundation is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Grant Manager to join our team!
  • As a Volunteer Grant Manager, you will play a vital role in securing funding to support our critical programs. You will be responsible for researching and identifying grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies aligned with our mission.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities aligned with Elite Star Foundation's mission and objectives.
  • Analyze grant guidelines and eligibility requirements.
  • Assist in developing compelling grant proposals that effectively communicate our programs' impact and needs.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure all proposals are submitted on time.
  • Maintain records of grant applications and track grant award statuses.
  • Assist with grant reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with funders' regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on grant trends and funding opportunities in the child protection and education sectors.
  • May provide support with presentations and grant-related communication.

Qualifications

  • Passion for child welfare and social justice.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with grant writing and/or grant management a plus.
  • Experience working in the non-profit sector a plus.
