Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our client base within the cargo transportation industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong sales background and a passion for exceeding targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients within the cargo transportation industry, including freight forwarders, logistics companies, manufacturers, and distributors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and delivery of services.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and pricing quotations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate terms and agreements with clients, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, such as revenue, profitability, and market share, and develop strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the cargo transportation market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the cargo transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of cargo transportation processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as required.
