Job Description

Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily restaurant management operations
- Deliver superior food and beverage service and while maximizing customer satisfaction
- Responding efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer and staff complaints
- Coordinate daily frontend and backend of the restaurant operations
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction while ensuring consistent quality delivery.
- Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
- Ensure the restaurant’s compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Manage the restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it for marketing goals.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste while working in collaboration with the Accounting Officer and Store Keeper
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
- Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and campaigns)
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- Implement policies, SOPs, and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
Requirements
- A B.Sc Degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role
- Proven work experience in customer service
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and waiter
- Familiarity with restaurant management software
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people management skills
- Acute financial management skills
- Excellent communication, conversational and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- Previous food safety training is a plus
- Good problem-solving and time-management skills
- Understands and values hospitality
- Smart and motivated team player
- This is a full-time position.
