Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Descriptions
- The job of an Agency Account Manager involves managing and growing relationships with select agencies and providing the best possible marketing solutions to both existing and new clients.
- He/she is also responsible for supervising the work of account executives, managing budgets and ensuring client needs are met at all times.
Specific Work Elements:
- Generating new business, managing portfolios of agency accounts;
- Overseeing all campaign aspects and project management activities;
- Attending client meetings;
- Leading and training account executives; Presenting sales reports to clients and executives;
- Achieving sales targets and meeting budgets; and expanding relationships with existing clients, among others.
Education/Experience Requirements
- A successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Advertising, Management, Marketing or a similar field and at least 3 years Advertising experience and 2 years experience in a managerial position.
- Account managers are required to obtain a Master's Degree in Business or any related field.
Skills:
- Strong time management, leadership and organization skills;
- Effective interpersonal skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Advanced knowledge in sales, business and advertising principles, practices and laws as well as solid presentation and negotiation skills.
- He/she must also be highly detail-oriented, confident, persuasive and has the ability to meet deadlines and work independently or as part of a team.
