We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Waitress

Responsiblities

• Assist in finding suitable seating arrangements, considering customer preferences and the size of their party.
• Present menus to customers and provide detailed explanations of dishes and specials.
• Take accurate and complete orders, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Ensure that plates are presented well and that orders are correct.
• Be attentive to customer needs and respond to their inquiries.
• Offer recommendations and suggestions if customers are unsure about their choices.
• Present bills to customers and process payments accurately.
• Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
• Keep the dining area clean and organized.
• Clear tables and reset them for new customers.
• Assist with overall cleanliness and organization in the restaurant.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Collaborate with other members of the waitstaff and management to address any issues.
• Suggest additional items such as desserts, appetizers, or special promotions.
• Encourage customers to try new or popular menu items.
• Follow proper hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.
• Remain calm and professional in handling customer complaints or challenging situations.
• Report any issues or concerns to the manager.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive and efficient work environment.
• Support fellow team members during busy periods.
• Stay informed about the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Be knowledgeable about daily specials and promotions.
