Polo - Cico Farms and Estate Limited is a farm complex, into Greenhouse farming to produce varieties of pepper on large scale as weel as poultry and catfish production for both local and international markets.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary 
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for market development in both local and international markets to achieve the company set goals and objectives. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager will play a key role in our continued success and will contribute to evolving strategies for future growth of the farm.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and executing new opportunities in both local international markets that will enhance company revenue and profit
• Conduct research to identify new local and international business development opportunities in international markets.
• Work with the Director of Marketing and Admissions to develop and implement International Market plans
• Develop and implement customer relationship programs including agent training, customer contact/communication plans, and enquiry management and create and manage follow up systems
• Monitor and report monthly to management on market performance against agreed targets by preparing regular reports on key sales metrics and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years senior sales experience with at least 5 years in a management role, with an impressive proven track record of achieving sales targets and results in agricultural products.
