Sevans Construction Nigeria Limited was established in 1981 with Registration No. RC 37125 as a limited liability company specialized in all kinds of “PEB”: Pre-Engineered Buildings. Located in Lagos, Nigeria. Working from certified designs in the manufacturing and erection of steel structures, we can construct a wide variety of buildings such as: warehouses, airport hangers, factories, churches, commercial and residential spaces with Structural Steel fabrication design & erection to the civil construction and in the Oil & Gas Industries, development and manufacturing of various semi-trailers, rigid truck bodies, which enabled the company to deliver complete projects of steel structures coupled with civil engineering. Our factory is run by a team of specialized professional staff and can churn out 250tons of steel products a month. A qualified technical and professional team is available to assist when queries arise in the factory or for follow-up on site.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Detailing Draughtsman

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• To prepare workshop drawing.
• To prepare a proposed BOQ backup drawing.
• To prepared Bill of Quantity.
• To priced prepared Bill of Quantity.
• To forecast and prepared the program of work for projects.
• To prepared the method statement for fabrication and erection works.
• To represents the company in site meeting.
• To coordinate the project from fabrication to handing over.
• To prepared the interim valuation for the company and sub-contractors.
• To prepared final valuation for the project.
• To prepare material list for a project.
• To communicate with client and structural engineer for clarification on project.
• To take record of physical observation/measurement of new project and give report and implement the reading.

Qualifications

• B.Sc in Engineering, Architecture or degree from a technical college
• Experience: 5 – 7 years as draughtsmanin Engineering –Fabrication and Construction Industry
• Proximity to Illupeju Oshodi will be an added advantage.

Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (AUTO CAD) software.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling tools and Excel.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
