Job Title: Live-in Chef

Location: Magodo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Menu Planning:

  • Develop creative and well-balanced menus that cater to the employer's tastes and dietary needs.
  • Integrate both local and Continental dishes to offer a diverse and satisfying culinary experience.

Culinary Execution:

  • Prepare high-quality meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of cooking techniques and styles, ensuring each dish meets the highest culinary standards.

Customization:

  • Adapt recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, or specific health requirements.
  • Engage with the employer to understand preferences, special requests, and preferred cuisines.

Kitchen Management:

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Efficiently manage kitchen resources, including ingredient inventory and equipment.

Flexibility:

  • Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting meal plans based on last-minute changes or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Be open to experimenting with new recipes and techniques to keep the dining experience exciting.

Communication:

  • Effectively communicate with the employer to provide updates on meal planning, grocery needs, and any other culinary-related matters.
  • Collaborate with household staff to coordinate meal service seamlessly.

Professionalism:

  • Uphold a high level of professionalism in all interactions, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Present meals in an aesthetically pleasing manner, considering the importance of visual appeal.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Personal Chef, with a track record of successfully managing culinary responsibilities for private clients.
  • Culinary degree or relevant School Certifications.
  • Extensive knowledge of both local and Continental cuisines, with a diverse skill set in preparation techniques.
  • Strong understanding of dietary restrictions, nutrition, and health-conscious cooking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to the employer's schedule and preferences.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 per month.
