Mone Solar is one of the leading renewable energy companies in Nigeria. We offer professional renewable energy services and products. We are a full-wrap EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and IPP (Independent Power Producer).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Operations

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Overview

• As the Head of Operations at Mone Solar Limited, you will oversee the operational aspects of our solar energy projects, including procurement, installation, and site management.
• This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, maintaining high standards of quality, and achieving company goals.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement and Vendor Management:

• Negotiate with vendors to ensure the company secures the best value for services and materials.
• Manage procurement processes and maintain accurate records of transactions and inventories.

Project and Installation Coordination:

• Oversee the disbursement of materials and coordinate the logistics of installations.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the quality expected.

Office and Site Operations Management:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Lekki office and coordinate the operational itinerary to various project sites.
• Ensure all site operations comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration and Strategic Planning:

• Work closely with the CEO to ensure smooth operations across the company.
• Participate in strategic planning and execution to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Quality Control and Site Supervision:

• Conduct regular visits to project sites to inspect and supervise installations.
• Monitor project progress and implement quality control measures to meet or exceed standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operations management, particularly in solar energy or related industries.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with vendor management.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of the industry’s legal rules and guidelines.
• In-depth understanding of budgeting, performance management, and workflow processes.
• Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
