Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

• Are you a seasoned Accountant looking for an exciting opportunity in the tech industry? Look no further! Our start-up tech company is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of accounting journals;
• Petty Cash reconciliation;
• Payment voucher;
• Reconciliation of Debtors and Creditor’s ledger;
• Management of Fixed Asset register;
• Monthly Bank reconciliation;
• Monitor and evaluate annual budget/forecast;
• Backing up data on the Accounting software;
• Remittance of statutory deductions/contributions (PAYE/VAT/WHT/ITF/NHF);
• Preparation of monthly Payroll;
• Preparation of weekly management report;
• Project Management Analysis.

Qualifications & Skills

• BSc. Accounting
• Professionally certified in ICAN/CITN/ACCA
• 3 - 5 years cognate experience
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and Sage Accounting;
• Experience in the use of Microsoft packages;
• Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
• Good analytical skills and attention to details.
