We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cost Accountant

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• Collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs
• Setting standard costs of products and services
• Developing and analyzing cost standards
• Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis
• Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc.
• Performing account reconciliations
• Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management
• Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit
• Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing and pricing based on financial data
• Managing the company’s balance sheet and accounting books
• Supporting other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure
• Responsible for Costing and pricing of Products and services
• Responsible for coordinating monthly and yearly stock count
• Responsible for preparing monthly inventory analysis report
• Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.

What We Expect

• Minimum of 5 years’ cognate experience especially in tax management.
• B.Sc. or equivalent in relevant discipline.
• The Candidate must be a Chartered Accountant
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Sage and ERP Application Packages.
• Exemplary planning and resources management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload with minimum supervision
• Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
