Job Title: QuickBooks Accountant
Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Post and process Accounts Payable journal entries in QuickBooks
- Maintain bank reconciliations for the organization
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Requirements and Skills
- HND/B.Sc degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
- 3 + years experience in bookkeeping
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Ability to process high-volume vendor payments
- Strong debits/credits knowledge
- Stable job history
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Additional certification (ICAN) is a plus
