Job Title: Experienced Bar Man / Night Club Hostess

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

• Mixing various ingredients to make cocktails and mocktails. The pouring of wine and beer is also necessary.
• Washing of equipment, barware, and glasses after use.
• Collecting payments and operating the cash register.
• Serving customers who sit at the bar with food and drinks.
• Deciding whether a customer has had too much alcohol.
• Cleaning of the work area and the bar counter.
• Taking orders and serving them to the right customers.
• Ordering supplies that are required for the bar.
• Arrange bottles, etc., at the bar to make it look good.
• Checking to ensure that customers meet the legal age requirements before buying tobacco and alcohol products.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an NCE, OND, HND, or B.Sc Degree with at least 5 years experience.
• Ability to deal with customer requests in a timely and positive manner
• Self-motivation and positivity to greet guests warmly regardless of the time of day
• Teamwork skills to help take on tasks outside of their specific job description and to help other team members with service
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverages, including wine pairings or in-house or regional specialities
• Practical front of the house and waiting skills, such as carrying multiple plates and pouring drinks
• Ability to stay on their feet for long periods of time, both early in the morning and night late at night
• Knowledge of restaurant management systems and point of sales systems
• Arithmetic skills to assist with taking money or cashing up
