Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Officer to join our team at company Name]. The Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation and storage of building materials to ensure efficient and timely delivery to our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and oversee the transportation of building materials from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers' sites.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand.
• Collaborate with suppliers to schedule deliveries and ensure timely receipt of materials.
• Monitor the quality of incoming materials and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Develop efficient delivery routes to minimize transportation costs and maximize delivery efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including invoices, bills of lading, and delivery schedules.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any logistics-related issues or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance logistics operations.
• Work closely with the procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 per month.
