We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of School

Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction in line with the school's mission and Montessori principles.
  • Curriculum Development: Ensure the implementation of the British curriculum while integrating Montessori philosophy and methods effectively.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and support a team of qualified teachers and staff, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment.
  • Student Welfare: Prioritize the holistic development of students, ensuring their academic, social, emotional, and physical well-being.
  • Parental Engagement: Establish strong partnerships with parents/guardians through regular communication, meetings, and involvement in school activities.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the school's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial sustainability.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the school's performance, implementing improvements as necessary to maintain high standards of education.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Education, School Leadership, or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Montessori Certification.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a Montessori or British curriculum school.
  • Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and British educational standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
