Role Description

  • We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. This role requires a mixture of digital marketing expertise, customer service, and sales acumen.
  • The purpose of this role is to boost the company's revenue by actively attracting, nurturing, and converting leads into successful deals.
  • You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to promote growth, building and maintaining client relationships, conducting market research, and leading the sales process.
  • You will serve as a key instrument in driving our growth, leveraging digital marketing strategies to reach potential clients, foster relationships, and ultimately close successful sales.
  • The role will also involve collaborating with the founder to develop innovative solutions and lead on overall business development and digital marketing efforts.
  • We offer a competitive salary of between 3 - 4.5 million NGN, with the potential to earn commission on business deals after a year of service in the role.
  • We believe in work flexibility and you will have the autonomy to structure your work in a way that works best for you. We are a fully remote company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement strategies to attract leads, such as managing cold email campaigns or coordinating a series of webinars.
  • Oversee content marketing across various platforms which will include scheduling social media posts, editing videos and writing blogs etc
  • Attend calls with potential customers and guide them through the sales processes
  • Document and improve our processes and keep our Digital Marketing and Sales playbook up to date

Ideal Candidate

  • Proactive and able to take initiative
  • Willing to document and improve processes
  • Excellent problem solver and googler
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Experience in conducting market research and analysis
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of diversity and inclusion initiatives in the workplace
  • Available for calls between 2pm - 8pm GMT to cater to our US customers.
