The Edo State Public Service Commission is vested with the responsibilities of treating matters concerning the State Civil Service with respect to Appointments, Promotions, Discipline, Confirmation of Appointments, Transfers, Retirements, Petitions and Other related matters.

The Civil Service Commission carries out its functions and ministerial responsibilities in strict compliance with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Edo State Civil Service Commission Law, Public Service Rules, Schemes of Service and other relevant Extant Circulars.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing technical and practical support to Engi neers in design, construction, maintenance and repairs Carry out systems maintenance, repairs and installations
• Provide technical support
• Diagnose faults and inspections to check equipment performance.
• Document test results and produce reports
• Maintain records of installation and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• HND / B.Sc Electrical / Electronics, Computer, Sound or Telecom Engineering
• A PGD/MSc in the discipline specified above will be an added advantage and Professional Certification (COREN)
• NYSC Discharge or Exception Certificate
• At least 3 years working experience.
• Proficient in MS-Word, Excel, CAD softwares etc.
• Applicants must be 35 years old or younger to be considered for the job.
