We arecurrently seeking for a highly skilled and creative Head, Strategy and Insights who will oversee the development of strategy for all the brands supported by our client and also be responsible for our client’s strategic work. The ideal candidate will work closely with the brand management, creative, digital and media teams.

Job Title: Head, Strategy and Insights

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Work with our clients to establish their aims and objectives.
• Provide thought leadership within the agency & to clients.
• Review briefs to ensure high quality, strategic input that inspires creativity.
• Review strategies & guide strategic thinking / direction for the agency.
• Attend & participate in / facilitate Brand Planning
• Brief the creative team to allow them to create effective and well-targeted propositions for our clients.
• Present ideas and conclusions to the client
• Facetime with Clients to discuss business complications & opportunities.

Job Requirements

• At least 7 years’ experience as a Strategist with 2 years being a Lead Strategist or Head of Strategy
• Experience in working in advertising, marketing research and media across multiple channels including digital is required.
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, PR, Advertising or any another relevant field is required
• Excellent Ability to exercise strategic principles and structured thinking to tackle business development projects assigned by client and/or non-marketing communication briefs.
• Excellent Ability to select appropriate frameworks, tools, and approaches to use in solving client problems.
• Possess Strong analytical research skills with the ability to synthesize and reduce information in different inputs to create a well-considered and accurate representative view.
• Proven Understanding of the impact of macro and micro economic factors on consumer attitudes and behaviour.
• Strong client facing experience to understand the key aspects of client facing roles in major brands and a record of generating new business including keen insight of certain key industries.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint etc.)
