Job Title: Senior System Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Role
- As a Senior System Infrastructure Engineer at Princeps Credit Systems Limited, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to support our business operations effectively.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in system infrastructure engineering roles.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions.
- Experience managing server environments and network infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Solid understanding of security best practices and measures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA, VCP) are a plus.
Requirements:
- Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions to support our financial operations.
- Manage server environments, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Implement and maintain virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Monitor system performance and conduct capacity planning to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard financial data.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align infrastructure with business goals and objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in financial system infrastructure.
