Description 

• We seek a skilled Technical Support Officer specialized in Solar Energy to join our team. As a Technical Support Officer, you will ensure successful installation, configuration, and maintenance of solar energy systems. Your expertise is crucial in providing technical assistance to customers, troubleshooting hardware or technical issues, and optimizing the performance of solar panels and equipment.

Responsibilities
Installation and Configuration:

• Assemble and install solar panels on roofs and structures.
• Configure PV systems based on site conditions and customer requirements.
• Connect panels to the power grid.
• Inspect electrical installations and wiring.

System Testing and Calibration:

• Test operating voltages of solar systems.
• Calibrate systems within acceptable power limits.
• Perform routine maintenance for efficiency and longevity.

Technical Support:

• Provide support for solar and inverter hardware, resolving technical problems.
• Address telephone calls, emails, and requests for technical assistance.
• Document, track, and resolve reported issues.

Quality Assurance:

• Create checklists for reviewing solar installation projects, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Develop plans to optimize performance and efficiency of solar electrical systems.

Collaboration and Reporting:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth project implementation.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 2 years work experience.
• Solid knowledge and experience in solar energy system installation and configuration.
• Proficiency in inspecting electrical installations and wiring.
• Familiarity with testing and calibrating solar systems for optimal performance.
• Ability to provide technical support and resolve hardware and technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Detail-oriented with expertise in quality assurance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Prior experience in the solar energy industry or related field preferred.
