Job Description
- As a Project Manager at Dotmac Technologies, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of fiber optic infrastructure projects.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering andnetwork operations,to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Your leadership and project management expertise will drive the successful deployment and expansion of our fiber network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for fiber optic infrastructure projects, from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and escalate as needed to ensure project success.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders.
- Manage resources effectively to optimize project delivery and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the fiber optic or telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of fiber optic network design, construction, and deployment processes.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
