Location: Agbeni-Ogunpa Market, Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

• As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and storing goods, and maintaining organized and efficient storage facilities.
• Your role is critical in ensuring that all products are readily available for distribution or sale while maintaining accurate records of stock levels and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and completeness of deliveries.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring efficient use of space and proper handling of products.
• Conduct regular stock counts and audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
• Implement inventory control measures to prevent loss, theft, or damage to goods.
• Ensure proper packaging and protection of goods to prevent damage during storage or transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of outgoing shipments and update inventory systems accordingly.
• Prepare shipping documentation and labels as required for domestic or international shipments.
• Keep storage facilities clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

Qualifications

• OND / HND / B.Sc in relevant course.
• 3 - 4 years proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or retail environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Close proximity to the job location.

Salary
N60,000 - N80,000 monthly
